The SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference, IMOC, is a biennial event aimed at the exchange and dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge on microwave, optical communication and sensors. It gathers national and international representatives of universities, research institutions, manufacturers of equipments and devices, telecommunication operators and government agencies. It also aims to identify new research topics and business opportunities by joining forces in a networking that will forward a greater interaction among the participants.
IMOC 2017 is themed "Bridging Academia, Research Centers, and Industry”. Its program addresses the challenges, technology trends and product development processes faced not only by university and research center groups but, also, by the industry segment.
IMOC 2017 edition will be held in the city of Águas de Lindoia, São Paulo state, at Hotel Majestic Convention Center, on the 27th to 30th of August 2017. The proposed format for the event is a conference with peer-reviewed paper sessions, plenary sessions, invited speakers, tutorial speakers, short courses and panels. It will also have a Exhibit Hall. Carried out by experts and leaders in the microwave and optical communication area, with participation of professional, researchers, academics and students in the fields of RF telecommunications, microwaves, optical communication, electromagnetism and sensors.
